Occasionally,
in the solitude of the late evening hours, when there were no more horses
needing to be shod or town folk impatiently awaiting repairs of their
household items, the village blacksmith indulged in his need to feed his creative
being. Such a blacksmith was Geronimo, and these letter openers are the
result of his need to satisfy that same hunger.
These graceful works of art will be handed down from one
generation to the next as expressions of our American heritage. No two are
identical; some are forged with a feminine hand in mind while others beg
for a masculine grip.
